The Cars Shake It Up Vinyl

The original cd pressing of shake it up had reasonable sound quality but nothing compared to it s vinyl counterpart this newly expanded version sounds so compressed it s hard to discern perceive or recognize much of the instruments and the voices sound muffled the jewel case has been replaced by a somewhat wider and flimsy cardboard paper that does not fit into the conventional cd rack that accommodates plastic jewel cases definitely will not be buying any more so called remastered.

This was the band s 4th studio album and they showed no signs of running out of steam artistically. Double 180gm vinyl lp pressing. 2lp set on red vinyl. Shake it up is not their best album but it s definitely a favorite of mine.
