The original 89 vinyl sounds really good considering its length for 1 disc but corners were cut to make it work. Disintegration is a desert island album for me so with the release of the 2010 remaster with all 12 songs across 2 discs i couldn t wait. I own all of the cure on cd including the deluxe box sets but as they say vinyl is king. It s printed on decently thick cardboard whereas the original is in a standard weight lp sleeve.
